KiBO
KiBO Foundation is a Social enterprise, registered in Uganda (September 2007) as a non-governmental organization. KiBO Foundation has developed a consistent track record, solid reputation and recognition for empowering children and youth with the Foundational skills to become responsible citizens, Find and Create Jobs and Build their Communities through Service-Leadership.
KiBO has worked directly and in collaboration with various groups of children and youth to build economically sustainable and empowered communities. This is done within a framework of four thematic areas which include; Life Skills training, Information Communication Technology Skills enhancement, Entrepreneurship and Community Engagement.
KiBO has a 12 year track record of delivering high impact work readiness programs that have seen a 90% percent engagement rate of its alumni. KiBO has trained over 7000 young East Africans, crossed the borders of Uganda and seen its program reach Rwanda and Kenya. KiBO youth have donated over 70,000 hours in service leadership to various communities and have also raised funds to support 50 various projects.
